As part of implementing improved features, the "Guest Book" has been removed from "The Family Speaks Out!" website. All posts have been transferred to the significantly improved "Bulletin Board", which is feature rich and easy to use. You will find the original "Guest Book" posts on the "Bulletin Board" under "Unregistered Users", "Guest Book".

After clicking "Bulletin Board" on the left side of the web page, you will find the link "faq" (frequently asked questions) in the upper right corner. This will help you get started in using the bulletin board. Anyone can read the bulletin board, but with the exception of the new "Guest Book" forum, only registered members can post or make use of its many features.

The greatest impact of our bulletin board is the world wide viewing of anything that is posted, and the ability for anyone that registers to respond. Since each person maintains their own profile, you have the ability to send private messages to valid email addresses for anyone registered. For security reasons, email addresses are not displayed. Once registered, you will find a link to the "directory" in the upper right corner of the "Bulletin Board", or click "Email Family" on the left side of the web page.

So, even if you are not ready to post a message, please register so that the family can contact you! Please note, this places the responsibility on you for updating your contact information ("my profile", which is in the upper right corner of the "Bulletin Board"), rather than one person gathering information and updating the website. If kept current, each person's profile, along with the genealogy information, will provide a powerful tool to stay in touch.
